The
curriculum at Kootenai Bridge Academy is a combination of
computer-based instruction (Nova Net), and elective
packets/work study and volunteer programs.
A student works at their own pace and completes one class
at a time. When a student has finished all of the
coursework for Idaho State Requirements, they have
completed high school (whenever that date may fall during
the year). We invite all students to come back in May for
our graduation. We graduate approximately 120 students
every year.
A student receives credit for the course they take
immediately after completion of the course.
The staff will counsel the student on how many classes they
need to complete in order to obtain a diploma. Classes take
approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. An average amount of
expected credits earned per semester is six to seven. If a
student works extremely hard and comes to school and/or
logs on more than the required 12 hours/ week, they may be
able to finish credits at a faster rate. We encourage
students to seek elective credits through work and
volunteer experience.
