trades apprenticeship program

The Workforce Training Center is excited to announce their upcoming  Pre-Apprenticeship Program for high school students. This program is designed to provide hands-on training and experience in the trades, including Heavy Equipment, Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical.

During the program, students will earn OSHA 10 certification, First Aid/CPR certification, and NCCER National Certification, which are highly valued in the trade industry. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about apprenticeships and explore the benefits of this career path compared to earning a degree.

The program fee is $500 and must be paid in full before June 1st, 2023. However, they have announced that the Workforce Training Center Scholarship Fund is available! This funding guarantees that your attendance at the Pre-Apprenticeship Program is of no cost to them.

This is a fantastic opportunity for high school students to gain practical skills that will set them apart in the job market. The program runs from June 12 to June 30, with only 25 spots available.

Completion of this program will also earn you 1 elective credit!!!
