Washington State University is offering a first-of-its-kind certificate program for high school students deciding if they want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
“The Junior Veterinary Scribe Certificate is a unique opportunity that equips students with a solid foundation and the essential skills needed for a career in veterinary medicine,” Program Administrative Manager Veronica Sweeney said. “The certificate is great for students who are thinking about veterinary medicine as a career path.”
This online program was designed for students ages 16-17 who want to enter the workforce after high school with a skill set to assist them in finding entry-level work in the veterinary field as a scribe, veterinary receptionist, or veterinary assistant.
Do you still need elective credits? Completion of the Jr. Vet Scribe program will earn you 2 elective credits AND qualify for KBA's tuition reimbursement program.
